The collection contains correspondence concerning the history of the church; the Historical Sketch of Old Hanover Church by Rev. Thomas H. Robinson, published by the Historical Society of Dauphin County, 1878, with a reprint done in 1975 by the Trustees of the "Old Hanover" Churchyard; typed pages of the Historical Sketch of Old Hanover Church by Rev. Thomas H. Robinson; an undated typed manuscript concerning the campaign to collect $3,000 for the maintenance and care of the old cemetery; the original handwritten constitution of the west and east Hanover Sunday School, 1828; a drawing of the plan of the interior arrangement of the church with the pews and pewholders in the later years of the pastorate of the Rev. Dr. Snodgrass, and a large undated drawing of the interior of the church with the pews and the names of the pewholders.
